Bring back school pets

From ponies and dogs to chickens and guinea pigs, animals have always been part of the Hanford story.

We're delighted to see Sophie Blewitt, Head, championing the benefits of school pets in her recent Spectator article. Animals enrich childhood in so many ways, fostering compassion, responsibility and confidence. It's something we see every day at Hanford, where the friendships our girls form with animals bring both joy and valuable life lessons.
